Risen3D Official Release v2.2.02 18th June 2008

Since the v2.2.0 announcement a few issues have been addressed, notably the need to no longer disable nvidia's threaded optimization,  the lack of midi volume adjustment in Vista, a hires texture suppression bug, improved functionality  and problems registering launcher libraries in Vista.

The launcher has also added a new option - Sitter's model replacements, the first pack is now available - Sitter's model and skins

If you have already installed v 2.2.0 or v2.2.01 then you only need to update by reinstalling v2.2.02 to the same folder - Risen3D v2.2.02

  Risen3D Release v2.2.0 22nd May 2008

Risen3D v2.2 is a major release and as such will require a clean install. The model packs and core effects have also been updated and therefore will require downloading again, the old packs will NOT work with v2.2  Checkout the Downloads page for all the new v2.2  model packs.

IMPORTANT: Do not install any v2.2  release over Risen3D v2.1.0

Users that have pwads installed in their current R3DGames folder can manually move these over to the new v2.2 installation with the exception of  Sitter's custom R3D maps which will also require new v2.2 versions, if your not sure how to do this then read the following -  Updating R3D

There have been significant changes and improvements to the custom maps so they are well worth the download. The new versions of these maps, including Sitter's new release Doomdragon, can be found on the Maps page.
